Jason Webb
Pastor

Jason Webb has been serving at Goodwater Baptist Church since September 2019. His family includes his wife Jessica Webb, and two children, Eva Kate and Easton. He holds degrees from Blue Mountain College (B.S Biblical Studies, 2009) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (MDIV 2018). Jason is fan of the Atlanta Braves, and The Mississippi State Bulldogs. He also enjoys intentional family time and spending time with people. His favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.”

JM Webster
Youth Minister

JM Webster has been serving at Goodwater Baptist Church since May of 2023. Jm is happily married to Jamie Ainsworth Webster. Together they have found a passion with working with teenagers and assisting them with their walk with Christ. Jm enjoys everything to do with Soccer. He is a licensed coach and an avid Arsenal supporter. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, camping or anything to do with the outdoors. JM’s favorite scripture is James 1:2-4 “Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.”

Rhonda Walker
Ministry Assistant

Rhonda was born on October 28th. She is married to Mike Walker for over 26 years. They have one child together, Kristen Walker Weathersby. Rhonda graduated from Mize High School and went on to William Carey for our B.S. in communication and public relations. Rhonda really enjoys traveling, reading, and crafting. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Ed Meadows
Music Minister

Ed Meadows has been serving at Goodwater Baptist as Music Minister since 2023. His Family includes his wife Pam Meadows. Ed has a 2 year degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Degree Seminary ( Music) Ed has a Passion for America’s Western Heritage having Lead in song and Preached at many events to Rodeo athletes. Ed’s favorite verse is Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Melinda Walker
Financial Secretary

Melinda Walker has been on staff at Goodwater Baptist Church, serving as Financial Secretary, since November, 2023. Melinda has been married to John for 35 years. They have a son Will (and his wife Izzy), a daughter Ashlynn (and her husband Zane) and 1 grandson, Hudson. Melinda and John love anything to do with Daylilies and Camellias. They have won numerous awards in both competitions. They also enjoy fishing, traveling and spending time with their family and friends. Her favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you whenever you go”.
